            The king's power was a           power and these godly Jews knew that God's power could overrule Nebuchadnezzar if that was His will and purpose.

            They rested in God's power according to His wisdom and purposes.

 

      3. Anthropomorphism for OmPo.

         - hand, arm; Rem what they can do,  God can do infinitely!

   - Jer. 32:17 "outstretched arm"

 

         - Numb 11:23; Isa 59:1 (short hand = God's power is limited.

          

   - 1 Pet 5:6 does the same for N.T.

 

      4. Nothing can Block God's power! - nothing too hard passages.

      6. There are two major events in History that illustrate the OmPo of God.

         a. O.T. Exodus of Israel from Egypt. Ex 6:6; 9:15-16

         b. N.T. For today is the Resurrection of Jesus Christ.

            Eph. 1:19-20
