Ø #1. Eph 5:15-17

Vs:15 "Therefore be careful how you walk"

Paul goes on here saying that there are 2 ways of approaching this!

"not as unwise men but as wise" unwise = asofoj wise = sofoj

Where does this put the start of living the CWOL??

In One's Head!! With OUR Thinking!!

5:16

"making the most of your time";

Why do we have to pay close attention to our walk?

"Because the days are evil."

5:17

Do not be foolish but understand what the will of the Lord is.

* So vs:17 sums it up beautifully; we are not to be human vpt people, we are to understand, to get it together, as to what the will of the Lord is!!

Ø #2 1 Thes 4:3 addressed to believers;

- There are 4 aspects to it that are important.

1. Must ensure that God the Holy Spirit empowers the life.

2. Must identify what God desires. [what His will is]

3. Must determine what works against what God desires in our daily routine! i.e. what competes for, works against the will of God.

4. Must begin making decisions that assign DVPT priorities to things in our life!

What is the point?? What makes sense here??

- If the will of God says that we be DVPT people, not human viewpoint people.

- Doesn't it make sense that we ought to make some decisions about the priorities in our lives?
