Prophecy Basics
The Davidic Covenant

First to David:

God is so sure of this right to rule
through the line of David that when He sent His Son to enter the human
race, He assigned to Jesus a place
genealogically in the line of David.

fulfilled?
Periodically the argument is raised
that all the provisions of the Davidic Covenant were fulfilled in the days of
Solomon's reign.
They go to 1 Kgs 4:21, and say this
fulfills it; and that no future fulfillment should be expected.
