Daniel Chapter Five - Belshazzar's Feast - The Fall of Babylon

Belshazzar didn't measure up to God's standard; scrutiny by God.

3. Upharsin (peres) sreP. = divided/broken in two speaks of the defeat of the Empire by Medo-Persia. (same word = Persia)

5. Belshazzar keeps his promise 5:29

6. The time for Repentance is over, judgment executed. 5:30-31

Belshazzar was slain, and the great city of Babylon fell to Cyrus.
