c.  Evil 3 is defined as HUMAN GOOD: 

1)  For one to operate in the sphere of human good is to seek  the blessing of God apart from His way. 

 

2)  If we're not empowered by the Holy Spirit and applying the illuminated word, our production in life is human good.  cf 1 Cor  13:1-3;  Col. 3:1-3;  Rom 8:6

 

3)  Human good is a counterfeit of Divine Good Production that is self-serving and not Christ oriented.  Mt 6:1-5

 

4)  It deviates from the established Straight and Narrow, via  actions that would otherwise be construed as "good."

 

5)  Satan effectively uses this system of human good  to pervert the truth as well:    Gen 3:1-7

1)  From this grows salvation by works;  cf Eph 2:8-9 cf  Gal 3-4

 

2)  Which is repulsive to God.  Isa 64:6

 

3)  Human good has always been rejected as the basis for being a part of a relationship with God.  Gen 4:3-5

 

4)  Human Good was rejected at the Cross as salvation in the Plan of God is by Grace through faith in the Work of Christ alone:  Eph 2:8-9; Titus 3:5;

 

6)  A Human Good (works) system of salvation and obtaining spirituality by works is seen in all the cults and even in most of the major religions of our time. 2 Pt 2:1 cf  2 Cor 11:13-15

 

7)  Human good can only produce human boasting, Rom 4:2;  Eph 2:9

 

8)  For the unbeliever human good is the basis of the indictment of the last judgment, the Great White Throne Judgment.  Rev 20:12-15

 

9)  The believer's human good is revealed and destroyed at the JSC (Bema Seat) and has no place in eternity.  1 Cor 3:12-15

 

d.  Evil 4 is defined as PERSONAL SINS:

 

1)  To sin means to miss the mark or overstep the boundaries established by God not man.

 

2)  The Believer is to live and obey God's charge:  Gen 26:5  

 

a)  This includes commandments which emphasize the MA orientation to authority of God;  carries the force of obligations we have in relationship with God  (hw"c.mi (miƒwâ))

 

b)  And statutes which focus on enacted laws, parameters established by God, directions for life, given as a guide for His people  overt applications;  (qxo œq))

 

c)  And laws (teaching and instruction) which focus on the specifics.  (hr'AT (tôrâ))

 

3)  Failure in orienting to God's directive will, true in all dispensations, results in different categories of personal sin:

 

a)  Mental Attitude Sins.  Ex. 20:17;  Rom 7:7  (covet)

 

b)  Overt Sins.  1 Pt 2:11 =  abstain from fleshly lusts  Gal 5:19-20

 

c)  Sins of the Tongue.   Js 3:1-10

 

4)  We must recognize that All sin is abhorrent to God, due to His absolute +R.

1 Jn  5:17 =  All unrighteousness is sin
