5.  He designed a Straight and Narrow Path in which to approach and serve Him that was based on His Righteousness:

a.  Entering this path, the narrow way,  begins with salvation.   1 Tm 2:4;  2 Pt 3:9

b.  The life of the believer after salvation requires the ministry of the Holy Spirit. He must not be grieved or quenched if there is to be power to live the life and walk worthy.

c.  We must have a consistent exposure to Truth, the Word of God:  Without it we cannot be Imitators of God  as we're commanded Imitators Eph 5:1;  1 Cor 11:1;      2 Pt 3:18;  2 Tm 2: 15;   Psa. 119:105

2)  Rejection of Truth falls into four different categories of Negative Volition:

a)  NV#1 = negative to the gospel.  Jn 3:16; 18;  Eph 4:17-18

b)  NV#2 = no intake of or concentration on the Word.  Gen 3

c)  NV#3 = distortion for personal gain.  2 Pt 2:3; 15  Balaam was willing, even desirous of material gain to the point he would compromise truth,  what he knew was right;

d)  NV#4 = no application.  Js 1:22

e.  Your full knowledge of truth (exposure + belief) will be tested.  Jas 1:2-4

f.  Your application of truth as appropriate results in handling the test at hand and also results in Divine Good Production.   Jas 1:22-25
